DVLA Tax Disc Collector at 7!

A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD has developed an obsession with vehicle tax discs, collecting more than 7,000 in under a year.

At the age of three, Jude Currie from Cobham was collecting hubcaps, and at five he had amassed more than 1,000 model cars.

Now in eight months, the junior hoarder - who lives with his parents Garnet and Candice in Litchfield Gardens – has amassed more than 7,000 DVLA discs dating as far back as 1947.

But it is not only Jude’s quirky collecting habits that have put him in the public eye, as he has also become a model for ex-tennis ace Björn Borg’s underwear collection.

His father said: “He’s been an auto fanatic since he was two. His first craze was extractor fans. He was 1.2kg when he was born – he was very premature. So I think it was the fans on the hospital ceiling he would have been staring at that sparked it.”
